So I have recently realized that I need to get out and start meeting people. After my hiatus, the extrovert in me has been ready to get out and meet some new people. Considering my current situation this is virtually impossible. Think about it... I work full time from home, I care for my daughter the rest of my day, I attend the same family ward I grew up in and aside from the park and the grocery store...that's it! Like I said, meeting new people is virtually impossible.
So I have made the decision to go....online. Were it not for several friends with success stories, I would have never done this, but let's face it, what other options do I have? I started doing this around the beginning of July and it's been an interesting month, to say the least. I've been approached by some interesting characters. One of the first people to contact me sent me the link to this YouTube video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h4Ok-ENnqn Q I wish I could let you view the video right here, but I can't. So please click on it. Let's just say, I was a little creeped out. Did I respond? Not to mention the guy was 20 years my senior. You're not robbing this cradle Mr!! CREEPY.
Stay tuned for more of my online dating experiences... and please share your own if you have them!

I totally support getting into online dating. I hear that eHarmony is actually worth paying for a membership! I have a very good friend who met her now-husband on eHarmony. He was divorced with 2 daughters who live with their Mom. Anyways, he and my friend were very happily married in the temple and now have a really cute little boy! eHarmony: well done! Go for it!
I have stories, but you're not ready for them yet.....I'll wait until you get a few more of your own and then we can exchange them and have a few laughs! Good luck! And always be smart.....there are MANY MORE "Mr. Creepy's" out there......trust me!
I am so glad you are blogging, but first let me tell you how much I love you and how much we miss you and Lucy. It sounds like you are doing amazing, and my aunt said you look great. I think I will be coming up next month so hopefully we can stop by for a little visit. Next thing, awesome job for starting to date and meet new people, but just be very careful, we don't want anything to happen to you.
Oh Melissa there is just so much I can say, I just think you are an amazing woman and mother and I wish you the best of luck with everything.
I've got 2 sister-in-laws from online dating so there's my testimonial ;o)
First of all I am so excited you're blogging again! And second of all I agree, online is how it's done these days. That's how my mom met her guy!
Emily- I love hearing there are success stories out there. It gives me hope!!
Darci- I bet you have some seriously creepy stories. I'm just a baby at this online thing, so I can't complain. I did recently get my heart a little trampled on. Being avoided really sucks. Let's be adults here!!
Kenna- Thank you so much!
Marissa- Again, love hearing testimonials! Thanks for sharing.
Kelly- Thanks for being excited that I'm back...and for reading!
Jonesy, I don't know if you know this, but I met my fiance from LDS Mingle....
